Overview

JImage is an iPhone image and animation editor for AI-assisted creation, portrait retouching, cropping, compositing, watermarking, and photo, GIF, or video export. This policy explains how JImage handles photos, AI requests, and app data.

Photos and Editing Data

Standard edits, previews, and exports are processed on your device. JImage does not upload your photos to our servers, and we do not operate a server that receives or stores your images. Photos are sent off-device only when you choose an AI feature that requires an image.

AI Features

When you apply an AI edit, generate transition frames, or create AI video, the prompt and required current or reference images are sent directly from your device to the DashScope region you selected. The request uses your own API key, which is stored in the device Keychain. AI processing is subject to the provider's terms and privacy practices.

Data Stored on Device

JImage may store app preferences, language and AI provider settings, favorite prompts, saved watermark templates, version history, recoverable editing sessions, generated-media task details, purchase status, export quota counters, and temporary files on your device. AI API keys are stored separately in the device Keychain.

Photo Library Access

JImage uses iOS photo picker and photo library permissions only so you can select images and save exported results. Access is controlled by iOS permission prompts and your system settings.

Purchases

JImage may offer paid upgrades through Apple's in-app purchase system. Purchases and entitlement checks are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.

Analytics and Advertising

JImage does not use advertising identifiers or third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-Party Services

App Store purchases and photo permissions are provided by Apple. Optional AI image and video features use Alibaba Cloud DashScope in the China or international region selected by you. Information sent to these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy practices.
